I'm getting married!!! Mark your calendar's May 21st Salt Lake Temple!

Tanner for some reason was being so cute and kept giving me the biggest kisses!
Madison loved my ring
Deven's Family- I absolutely love them!
Well I'm sure everyone already knows, but grandma wanted me to post the details on the blog with pictures. I don't have the ones from right after he asked me, but I will get those.

The Story
Deven picked me up and asked me where we wanted to eat ;). He knew that I wasn't going to say a place because I'm terrible at picking places. So he then said ok well lets go to Cafe Rio. (That is where he took me on our 1st date (April 20th))! Then afterwards he said that we were going to go and watch a movie with his sister and brother-in-law. When we get to their house noone answers the door. He calls them and asks where they are, they said that we could just go on in and that they will be there shortly. I asked Deven where they were and he said getting a movie. Then we went down stairs and I heard music playing and then I went around the corner and saw roses and candles. On the TV was a dvd playing with music and pictures of us. The menu on the dvd was called Cinderella Story. We pushed play and it started out showing a picture on the elementary school and then a picture of his mom sitting at her desk. (Those who don't know I meet Deven at that elementary school because his mom was a secretary at that school when I was subbing and she set us up :)!!!!) Then it was all these pictures of us and the different family trips. Then the last pictures were of the Salt Lake temple and then the very last picture was him on one knee holding my ring. At that point he got down on one knee and asked me!! Of course I said YES!!!!
I was then so excited to call everyone and tell him, but he then said well thats the other surprise. Everyone is already over at my house waiting for us to celebrate! It was so perfect. I was sad though because my parents were not there and chris and shani could not make it. But it was awesome for everyone else there. Deven's family was all there too except for his twin sister and her husband.
When we got to Devens house we had cake and ice cream (of course) to celebrate. We had a cake that said congratulations with our date we got engaged on it.

Florida Trip with the Ward's

Flora went with the Ward's to Daytona, Florida. We spent a day at Disney World. The Christmas lights were beautiful and Grandma even went on some rides with us.

We stayed on the beach and spent almost every morning enjoying the waves and sand.

Grandma turned out to be quite the Nascar fan. She just wished it was louder. The Daytona 500 Speedway was pretty interesting.

We came across a man with a parrot who let Mike hold it. He was nice enough to take a family picture of us all and then take Mike's money.

On the way back to the airport, we stopped at Downtown Disney and got a kick out of this sign. Click on it to make it bigger. We didn't follow the rules.

Overall it was a really fun trip and we think Grandma had fun. We enjoyed her company and extra help with the little ones.

Merry Christmas!

Congratulations Claire!!

We just want to let everyone know, that Claire was baptized and confirm on Dec. 6th, by her dad. Sorry, these aren't the best pictures, we forgot our camera. These were taken on Bonnies' cell phone. I was going to have Rebecca e-mail me some, but since I waited so long to get this Christmas information on the blog, I'll just put these on for now.
These pictures don't do her justice, she looked beautiful. I'll try to get pictures from Rebecca.
Sorry, this is my first time putting in pictures and I'm not sure how to get them the way I want them to look.

I can't believe Christmas is in just a couple of days. Merry Christmas everyone! I'm sure everyone knows most of this information, but just in case you don't.

We will be getting together Christmas Eve, at 5:00 p.m., at Janet's house. I think everyone knows what food they are bringing. If you have a question call Janet. As far as gifts, the older kids voted to do the white elephant gift. This is suppose to be just something funny from your home. If a couple wants to bring two gifts, they get two gifts. But if you only want to bring one gift, that's fine too. You just take one gift home. We won't be doing grandma gifts for this age group that night.

If you have children 12 yrs and under in your home, bring a grandma (great-grandma) gift for them to open. If you have a baby, you decide if you want to bring a gift that night, or put the money towards something else.

This year we won't be getting together on Christmas Day, until 5:00, to give you more time to enjoy your Christmas gifts or visit other family. We will be having a potato bar for dinner that night and play some games. If you get a fun new game or have one, bring it to play.

As far as activites for after Christmas, we thought we would plan 3: ice skating, bowling and sledding. We talked about maybe doing something before Christmas, since Alan & family are leaving on Friday for California. But they have shopping to do and I'm sure we're all trying to finish things up. I guess we'll end up planning this on Christmas day as usual.
