Memorial Day

It looks like the weather is going to be the best on Monday and it's good for most people. Plan to meet at Wasatch Cemetery Monday at 11:00 a.m. to do flowers. After we are going to go to Evergreen Park for lunch and fun. Grandma is going to buy pizza so you don't need to worry about bringing anything.
Come ready to play some ultimate frisbee, a game of softball or just relax and visit.
Hope to see you there!

Cherice helped me remember the other thing we talked about making this Tuesday. If you want to make one of these swifter covers they can either be crocheted using a H hook or knitted using a size 7 needles. I'm sure we can use other sizes and adjust the pattern. Cherice also found a pattern to sew them. We'll try those the next time for those who want to. I'll have some of the sugar'n cream yarn if you want to make one.

Sister Get Together

Our next sister get together will be Tues. the 13th at Janet's house around 10.
We know some have expressed an interest in making some new hair bows, so we thought we could do that. Alison wants to make an I Spy Bag like in the picture below, if anyone wants to make one of those bags. You can find out more about them at http://www.abc4.com/ and go to Good Things Utah and search I Spy Bags. If you aren't interested in any of these, bring one of your projects to work on or just come.

Cherice also found a cute card table playhouse she thought would be fun to make. It will take a while to make it depending on how cute you want to make it. Here are a couple of pictures of them. We can talk about it on Tuesday and see if anyone is interested in making one.

You can check it out in more detail at:

There are also some other playhouses you can look at, by clicking on them.
